Configure your membership settings

To enable memberships, choose the product zora should use in the Membership section of your Theme Settings. By default, zora looks for a product with the handle “membership”. If you have not created one yet, set that up first.

Membership product

This is where you assign your Membership product. Once enabled, the “subscribe” button appears in your main navigation. You can edit the button text and plan details in the Header section.

Note: You can still use zora as a non-membership site. To do that, do not assign a membership product.

Membership tag

By default, zora uses “exclusive” as the membership tag. This tag helps zora distinguish non-members from members and power members-only content and products.

You can keep “exclusive” or change it. If you change it, use the new tag any time you create members-only content or variants.

Word limit (restrict content)

By default, when someone tries to view members-only content without access, zora shows a limited number of words and this inline prompt: “this content is for members only, sign in to view.”
